What is M.S.S.

Modern Shooting Solutions is a company created with the average citizen in mind, providing quality education, self-defense, home defense, shooting, fitness, and other techniques.

These techniques are taught within a group setting, or personalized 1 on 1 training. These training courses are for ALL skill levels, no previous firearm training or knowledge is required. I offer these courses at a price that is affordable, and welcoming to everyone of any skill level.

MSS was founded and run by myself, Rustin Staheli.

"No one is coming for you"

 We have seen dangerous and hostile situations broadcasted across news stations, and social media platforms that even when "someone is coming" or " is in the building" sadly, they can be too late.  With all that is going on in the world, being able to protect yourself and your family is of the utmost importance. It is our responsibility to be in control of our safety, and the safety of our loved ones. Recent world events have sparked interest in many people who have approached me with a desire to learn firearm self-defense skills, but do not know where to start.

My goal in starting this company is to create a community of everyday people, who have confidence in their abilities and skills to use their 2nd amendment rights in these dangerous and hostile situations. I believe in the right to bear arms; I also believe we have a duty to know how to use them properly and proficiently.

I served both in the military and law enforcement. I am also a certified NRA instructor. During my time in the military, I served on a combat deployment to Iraq. In my training experiences I had the opportunity to train with many high-level individuals to include; Special Forces Green Berets, Army Rangers, Marine scout snipers, Swat team members and Delta Force operators. I have always loved learning new skills and techniques, and have a passion for teaching and mentoring people. Personally, I think there is nothing more rewarding than being able to teach someone how to defend themselves and watch them gain confidence in handling, firing, and carrying their firearm(s) safely and responsibly. It also brings peace of mind knowing that there is one more person in the community that could possibly save my life one day. 

 

With all of my professional and personal life experiences, I have been given a very unique perspective on life. I have learned how to overcome odds, to find motivation when it felt like there was none, and be able to push past the mental barrier and the words "I can't".  I am here to help you do the same, I have built curriculum around my experiences and physical training in military, law enforcement, and the tactical world. I will help you overcome whatever challenges stand in the way of your ability to protect you and the ones you love.
