Low light / Night Shooting

Service Description

Modern Shooting Solutions is offering an intermediate-level handgun class that covers techniques for shooting at night. This class is held at a private range in Hurricane, Utah, and lasts for 2.5 hours. In order to take this class, students must have completed a basic handgun course or an equivalent class and should already be familiar with safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, foundational marksmanship skills, and working from a holster. During this class, students will learn about flashlight techniques, movement at night, shooting from cover at night, different light options and configurations, basic CQB tips for at night, and scenario training to put it all together. Topics covered in class. 1. Flashlight techniques 2. Movement at night 3. Shooting utilizing cover at night 4. Different light options and configurations. 5. Very basic CQB tips for at night. 6. Scenario training to put it all together Equipment needed. Pistol (does not need weapon mounted light but can have one) Holster Handheld Flashlight 150 rounds of ammunition. Pants and clothes that can get dirty Clear eye protection If you do not have some of these items let me know as some may be available depending on the class.
